Welcome to Insight Design Studio. These terms outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. Engaging with our services implies acceptance of these terms, so please read them carefully.

Modifications to Terms

Insight Design Studio reserves the right to update these terms without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Payment

Payment is accepted via Direct Deposit and cash in Australian Dollars (AUD). Projects exceeding $500 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin.

Cancellation

You may cancel your project at any time. Upon cancellation, copyright and original artwork remain with Insight Design Studio. You will be billed for work completed at our hourly rate, plus any incurred expenses.

Changes and Revisions

Change requests must be in writing. Additional charges at our hourly rate may apply for changes resulting from an inaccurate brief or alterations to the initial brief.

Confidentiality

Confidential information must be identified in writing at the project’s start. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act to protect personal and private company information.

Content and Delays

The client is responsible for providing required materials timely. Delays from the client may extend project timelines. Accelerated deadlines may incur additional charges, dependent on our current workload.

Copyright and Licensing

Copyright transfers to you upon final payment. Insight Design Studio retains the right to use completed designs for promotional purposes. While efforts are made to ensure originality, we cannot guarantee against third-party rights infringements. The client assumes responsibility for the legality of approved work. Preliminary materials remain our property, and unauthorized use will be legally pursued.

Licensing

Materials created are licensed for single-use only unless explicitly agreed upon. Unused designs remain our property.

Overdue Payments

Late payments incur a $30 administration fee. After 4 weeks, a monthly charge of 20% of the project’s total cost is added for delinquency. Debts overdue by 8 weeks may be forwarded to a collection agency, with additional charges to cover collection costs.

Printing and Proofing

Clients are advised to verify proofs with their printer. Insight Design Studio is not liable for errors after approval.

Quotes

Quotes may be adjusted for unforeseen work, with prior notice to the client.

Support and Training

Support and training are billed at our hourly rate.

Privacy

Client details are confidential and will not be shared without consent.

Cybersecurity

Insight Design Studio is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from cybersecurity incidents, including hacking or outages, beyond our reasonable control.

Warranty and Maintenance

Our services are provided without warranty. Website maintenance is recommended and available under a separate agreement.

Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Australian law. Disputes will be resolved within the Australian legal system.
